my awesome chenille scarf

In deep black and royal purple chenille:
I used an 11 set of needles and knit a seed stitch very LOOSELY. I put 15 stitches, and then slipped the first stitch at the start of EVERY row, and then did K1, P1, ending on a purl each row as well. That pattern works as long as you have an uneven number of stitches. Dory helped me work that out, cause she's a knitting goddess.

So:
Size 11 needles, knit loosely
R1: Slip the first stitch, K1, P1 across to the end, make sure you end on a purl.
R2: same thing, and continue on.

This has GOT to be the easiest pattern yet. =) It helped me to really learn the purling stitch. I took my time with it, too, to get a feel for purling and to get it right.
