Being sick for the past week gave me the time and a reason to knit up these big thick wool socks (Lion Wool-Ease) -- another pattern from Handknit Holidays book called "Log Cabin Socks". Fun, elegant pattern that winds cables all around your ankle and foot keeping the fit snug all over. I will wear them until I am healthy again. So this is the what they look like before they get fuzzy and pilled and washed. Lucky Dave jumped into the way as I was taking this. He wants to be where the action is.
